On Thursday 9th May we had an exciting visiter to the school. They were called Rhythmic Beats.
We each had a drum and we learnt two tricky beats. It was so exciting. We had to persist because at times it was really hard. We had to listen really hard to the beat.

Star of the day today was Jovan
Today we had the most amazing listening discovery time.
First we talked about what listening looks like and sounds like. We thought is sounded like nice words, please and thank you, soft voices and Shylo modeled it by saying "I like your idea lets play together". We thought it looked like sharing and letting everyone play together.
Here is what we did
We blind folded someone and directed them to build a tower.
We had to listen for direction to finish the maze.

Star of the day today is Faafetai.
Today we went to the sandpit and we made teams of three and four. We made sand castles and we dug tunnels. "we put sand in buckets to make the castles" Said Faafetai. When it was time to go back to class we had fun busting down our castles. We all helped to pack up the sand.
